For non-whiners
My brothers and I require little to have fun. The fact that this place had a fridge, microwave and a small-burner stove exceeded our requirements. The staff was quick and courteous, the room was clean and comfortable and the location was a good springboard for accessing where we wanted to go. We had a lot of fun ducking into the shops along the six or so blocks of Broadway we walked every day to get to the N train, which made accessing Queens, Manhattan and Brooklyn pretty easy.

Ok but not fancy
The only big complaint we had was the mattress should be replaced. You roll to the middle of the bed. The room especially the bathroom was very small,but confortable. The maid service was excellent. Every night when we returned to our room it looked very clean and neat. For us the location was great 2 block from our daughter and grandson. Probally a 15 minute and $20 cab ride to Manhattan and the subway is about 5 or 6 blocks away.
Room is too small for more than 2 people.

Short Stays only
first of all it is verry important to understand that i am talking about a motel not a hotel. Motel usually take adavatage of the rooms turning over them couple of time per day, where peole stop by for a couple of hours and quick stays mostly, so not recommended for family stayers in all meaning. it is noisy when it comes to late nights and early morning but this does not bother some of the stayers. so hope i made things cleare here.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
it is a good location for short and excurtionist stayors and people who are not laizy. the Metro station is 8 block south of Broadway street, it is a nice walt if it is not raining, pass by the bakery and the coffee shops at the hlaf distance, by your lottery ticket on your way, have your coffee, and you will fing yourself already in the metro station. it is a good location for people who wants to be close to LGA Airport where you can take the bus for $2 from Astory Blvrd Next metro station.
