Clean and close to beach
Nice area, felt totally comfortable and safe, staff was nice. Mostly dutch families stay at this resort but most staff and tourists speak English which was nice.
Nice family place to stay,a little secluded for those looking for nightlife, but you can take a car anywhere on island. Watch out tho-no street signs posted on streets so maps don’t do you alot of good,buses are pretty reliable tho.

tropical paradise, but self-service.
I got the pool view villa with kitchenette and a large balcony and was very pleased with the comfort of it. The hotel, the beach and the food were delightful. BUT The service staff is practically null. There are no telephones in the rooms and bad internet connection if any. Food extremely expensive and you have to wait too long to be served. Other than that it is a paradise.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Great spot for windsurfing...check out the Curazao winsurf place at Caracasbaai...plenty windsurf rentals for any level for just $15 an hour. Flyfishermen...bonefish insightclose to the docks.

Very disappointing.
Front desk closed early in the evening, very unfriendly staff. Never a smile. This hotel is in a pretty setting though. Quite far from the city, but can get there by bus if you have lots of time. Taxis are very expensive. There was one night security guard who was friendly and helpful. Short walk to the beach which wasn’t much. Also have to rent a beach lounge even if you are staying at the hotel! Never plan to go back.
