Low Budget right by the Airport
If you want just a room with a place to lay your head down at night and take a shower this isn’t that bad. I run and the surrounding area wasn’t lit very well. There are no amenities to this place. Positive - right across the street from the airport and easy access to the freeway. Kind of like the Motel 6 chain. JS
Stay somewhere nice. When you travel spend the extra bucks to enjoy yourself.

Apathetic service
I called several times to get directions. The directions were poor. When I finally got to the hotel, the attendant had to get off the phone with her ’friend’ to help me. The hotel was dirty, small, and not well maintained. The parking lot was full and when I asked about parking she waved out toward the street and said, "Park in the grass." If Howard Johnson’s had been my only choice, I "might" have stayed there. However, it is surrounded by larger, more attractive, and better maintained facilities. If the Howard Johnson’s in this locale wants to remain competitive, it needs to have "better" service than the more attractive hotels it is surrounded by---not worse service.

Hall of Fame restaurant down the street was nice.

Do not be fooled by the outside..dirty
The bathroom had lots of hair in the tub. I had to clean it before I would let the kids use it. No water pressure in the shower. Old ratty blankets on the beds. Carpet dirty. Hallways dirty. Will not stay there again even if I have to pay more to stay somewhere else.
