Excelent choice
My wife and I stayed at the Palm court on Feb/09. The hotel is just a few metres away from the orient beach, wich turns it a very good value for your money, as it is not the front line hotel. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The hotel staff is extrevelly friendly and will do whatever they can to help you. The beach is a two minutes walk and is very well located. As a guest, you can also stay in one of the beach clubs for free. You can even pay the beach club bill on your last day of stay.

Rent a car. The island has no efficient public transport.

Can’t wait to go back!!
I just got back from vacation from St Martin,and I would highly recommend this hotel. Very clean, friendly staff. Just minutes from orient beach and a village to walk around and eat. I am already planning another trip in October.
Traveler's tip on dining
If your traveling from the States look for the $1-1 E exchange alot of places are doing it. I would recommend eating in La California on Grand Case. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful
Absolutely beautiful. Has been refurbished. They let us check out late so we could spend time on the beach before flying home. Will definately go back. Clean and the rooms are large so you don’t feel cramped. Hammock outside room. Nice deck on ground floor.

Not much going on at night. If you want peace, this is the place to be.

Impressed
Everything about this hotel was impressive. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was big and comfortable with a small kitchen and patio overlooking a nice garden area. The hotel is away from the late night bars so it was very quiet. It was a 3 minute walk to Orient Beach, a variety of restaurants and grocery store. The hotel supplies the umbrellas and chairs at the beach.
