Great Zurich Airport Hotel
Very friendly people. Moderately priced. Free shuttle to and from airport. Train into Zurich city just a few steps away.

Good alternative to pricier Zurich hotels
Desk staff were very helpful and helped track down my lost luggage. A block away is the train station where you can take a 15 minute ride into the main station in Zurich. The room was clean, but very warm - no air conditioning. Also, there were no ice machines, but the downstairs restaurant gives a glass of ice on request. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but about a block away is the Migros store where you can get hot or cold food, soda, coffee very reasonably priced. The free shuttle to nearby Zurich hotel was a definite bonus and ran right on schedule.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Consider taking in the Swiss National Museum by the Zurich train station. It is uniquely set up and has many large exhibits of a wide variety of themes. Entry is free with the Zurich Card, which is a great deal - it covers all types of transportation (tram, train and boat), as well as entry into many places for 24 hours. Longer passes are available at a higher price.

Great for a fly in fly Hotel out only
Definitely not a destination hotel but served it’s purpose to overnight and fly out the next morning. The staff was very nice but the hotel is a little older and dated yet clean and comfortable. Free internet and the staff will print up your flight check in docs but breakfast IS NOT FREE. The gals at the front desk tell you about breakfast in the am served in their restaraunt but it’s not as represented as part of the room fee. It will cost an extra 15 francs per person for some coffee and cereal so it’s your choice. Shuttle service to the airport 5 minutes away.
