I believe it’s the best Hotel in Cesky Krumlov
The hotel is located in a great position on the beginning of Cesky Krumlov’s "old town." The location is also VERY close to the main attraction in town, the Castle. The parking is not directly next to the hotel, but the walk is very close (some stairs provide the most direct route). While I did not look into the other hotels, based on the exterior of the other hotels, U Mesta Vidne appears to be of a higher quality, larger, and more "modern". I stayed in two other small towns in Czech, and this was the best hotel out of all of them. I had expected a small European-style accomodations, but this surpassed my expectations, and was very up-to-date.

Hotel U Mesta Vidne a nice surprise!
Excellent location. Easy to find with helpful signs to direct you. Pleasant and courteous staff.Very good breakfast buffet. Room was comfortable and adequate. Would go back and we do recommend it. Parking is in a lot not adjacent and costs extra.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
In Cesky Krumlov skip the Marionette and Puppet museums. They are just trying to sell you something.

excelent location , comfortable clean room, not very large
It was a nice comfortable hotel. The rooms are not large but clean and well mantained. English speaking staff.
