Not impressed
This hotel is still in the process of being renovated and should stay closed until finished. It is definitely not a business hotel and the amenenties are from the dark ages with a single computer that is so old it takes 5 minutes to boot up. The only plus to this hotel was its downtown location. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Good Deal for Downtown
This is an older boutique style hotel but the location is great and it is very reasonable for downtown. You can walk to Baywalk and the bars/restaurants on Central. The lounge is a good place to get a martini or a drink before heading out for the evening. I would not recommend the breakfast...they dont open until 8:00 and the staff is rude...also I was the first customer for breakfast and they ran out of toast! How do you run out of toast? at 8:00 am??

Found a Gem
This hotel turned out great - we were a little worried with the mixed reviews, but this was a nice boutique hotel in a great location. The value could not be beat and we plan to return next month for another event. Close to park, theaters, cafes, clubs and marina. Hotel Conditions - the hotel was very modern. Upgrades were clearly done recently - so we are not sure all floors would be updated. With the age of the building, the room was smaller and I could see that some might be somewhat oddly shaped. Ours had a full size bed and a futon in the corner. The bath was relatively small but adequate. The tile was obviously new. While our rate was great - the view was that of the hotel across an alley. Rooms on higher floors with South or East views would have had a great view of the marina. TV was a tiny flat-screen in a corner - but near the bed so it worked fine and helped save precious space. Parking a public parking garage diagonally across the street. It is only $6 max per day - $5 all weekend. The problem is the garage is unmanned on weekends, so it is $5 every time you come and go (there is no ticket to get in and out). Given the location, we did not need our car. In all - it worked out great and we would definitely go back again. Not ideal for those who would spend too much time in their room, but perfect location for those who want a pretty nice boutique hotel for a good price in a great area.
