Exterior Rooms Are Best
Rooms which have a street view are the coolest rooms, in terms of air conditioning. The rooms which open up on to the courtyard do not cool down enough for the air to work.

Run the beautiful quai-side of the Rhone river. There’s a 3 mile loop from the hotel to the river, north, then south and return.

GOOD HOTEL BUT ODD LOCATION
This is good hotel, but located in business area. It was little difficult to find without map from train station. There aren’t any restaurants close by. May be good for business trip but not for family.

Value for the price
Booked a premium room (apparently larger than a regular) which is not spacious enough for tall Americans. Bilingual staff found a suite and we upgraded. Well worth it if you are spending a longer time in Lyon. Wish they were more environmentally friendly, dont need the plastic cups wrapped in more plastic or all new towels and shampoo bottles daily, the hotel is clean enough. For the price, I would recommend staying there.
