Hidden Treasure
We had planned a trip to Hawaii for our 20th wedding anniversary but circumstances changes our plans. We ended up instead in Cambria for a brief celebration. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The hotel owners were amazing and did everything they could to make our anniversary special, an upgrade, special ammenities and dinner reservations at the Sow’s Ear (excellent). The room was big, bright and right on the creek. We had a perfect weekend and our Creekside experience was a big part of it.

A nice hotel
The people who own the hotel are very friendly and informative. I wasn’t sure if the hotel did not have air conditioning because of the area or if it just did not work. It was rather warm, but it eventually cooled down with the window open. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean.

It was OK
I like that it was a green motel and pet friendly. I loved that they had a little recycle bin in the room. But the rug was badley soiled in many places and needs to be changed. Also, the room had a odd smell, reminded me of a minty pesticide. The bathroom was big and clean and that was nice.
