Excellent value!
Clean, comfortable hotel located near the river. Large (for European 3-star hotels) room and bathroom; nicely furnished with minibar and flat-screen TV.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Its a bit of a walk uphill into the town center, but theres a bus stop right out front that runs to the center.

lovely place
The rooms are small, but extremely comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the rustic scenery of the hills of Toledo, and the Tajo River. The beds are very comfortable. We stayed for 13 days and felt right at home. You can walk to the train station, and in 30 minutes you are in Madrid or take the bus that parks right in front of the hotel (#12 casco historico) to the Toledo bus station. The hotels location is perfect because its near everything, though be warned you have to walk up to get to the center. Wear comfortable shoes. The price per person for breakfast was 8 Euros, which was not expensive because you could serve yourself as many times as you wanted. The personnel was extremely helpful and very nice. I will definitely keep this hotel on my list.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
For lunch one day I recomend to go to one of the small markets that are near the entrance of the city gates. You can get a paneton (looks like a french baquette), 100g of serrano ham, and 100g of machego cheese (the kind for sandwich) for around 3 Euros. Get a bottle of wine (prices range from .70 centimos to 9 Euros) and have a picnic by river.
