Higly satified, reasonable price, exceeded our expectations
Hotel exceeded our expectations. Extremely satisfied with all aspects. Hotel is a modern European, free access to internet, pay parking immediately adjacent to hotel and accessible from interior of hotel. Hotel is within walking distance (less than an 1/2 mile) of major attractions such as the Town Square, Porta Nigra, Dom, St Gandolf’s, Constantine’s Basilica, etc. Hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. Highly recommended

Pretty Hotel with Very Nice Rooms
We stayed at the Park Plaza hotel twice on this trip for two days each separated by 30 days - before and after a biking trip through Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. On both stays the hotel staff were very accomodating, efficient and helpful. The rooms were lovely, and the condition of the hotel very nice. As an added nicety, when we returned for our second stay, we found chocolate candies waiting for us in our room with a very nice note. I highly recommend the Park Plaza Hotel as it is very centrally located and will definitely stay there again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Trier is a beautiful and historic city with many attractions. In addition it serves as a gateway for a wonderful 3-4 day biking trip along the Mosel - from Trier to Koblenz.

Great Hotel
This is a great hotel in a great location. It is the only one I found in the vicinity with AC, a very good thing to have in Aug. Parking was convenient with an adjacent attached garage, 12 Euro daily rate. Free high speed internet in rooms. Easy to get in and out of, but still very close (easy 5-10 min walk) to Dom and Porta Nigra.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Coyote Cafe, next door, seemed to be a lively place for dinner or drinks.
