We were impressed from the time we pulled up until we left.

We attended a panthers game which was in walking distance, walked to a wonderful restaurant , and thoroughly enjoyed the city.

Great place to stay while in the Queen City
The overall stay at the Westin was great. The staff was great and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing that was unexpected was the fact that you had to pay for internet service. Usually, that is a perk that is included with the purchase of the room. Also, I had a patron that had a dog on an unauthorized floor and that posed a problem as far as sleeping. The staff was notified, however, the occupant was not in the room and the problem took all night to become resolved. But, overall, it was a great stay. It has a great location to the ball field and the heart of downtown.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
This hotel charges for parking, which is at a decent rate. you are in walking distance to the ball field so although you may spend a little more on the room, the convience is worth it.

Nice hotel, good location
I stayed at the Westin for only 2 nights, but I was satisfied with everything. It was in a convenient location to uptown Charlotte -everything was withing walking distance. If you would rather take public transporation, the lynx train stops right at the hotel - really convenient. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I was looking for some good eats and they provided me with many options and even supplied maps- they were well prepared. I definitely recommend staying at the Westin.
