What to expect: One block from the convention center and three blocks from Sixth Street bars and restaurants, this hotel draws business and leisure travelers. Guests enter the limestone-façade hotel and pass into a two-story lobby with a wrought-iron spiral staircase, dark leather chairs, black-and-white photographs, and oil paintings that depict Austin at the turn of the 20th century.
