Very Nice Hotel - Great Location - food charges at hotel a bit pricey
We stayed for 4 nights in October 2009 and absolutly loved it. The room size is impressive - larger than regular hotel rooms. The staff was very friendly. The only complaint I had was the food - the one full service resturant on-site was a bit upscale in terms of the menue offering - not good for families or someone looking for a more casual meal. The lobby bar or grill bar were the only other places you could get food - other than room service. Both places charged an unreasonable amount in terms of mandatory surcharges and fees. However, there are some great places to eat in walking distance or by a short ride - so we learned quickly to just do that. There is also a CVS across the street so you can save a lot of money and bring your own water and snacks to the beach.If you are hungry late night and dont’ mind paying a lot - room service is 24 hours and we did this one night and the food was great.
Late October Early November perfect time to go - off season so the beaches are not crowded at the hotel.
