Worst place ever
The rooms are not air conditioned, the bed are extremely hard, and not confrotbale at all, the rooms are not very clean. the service is the worst ever. All staff are unprofessional. the only good thing, is that the hotel has a beach. food was awful.

I wouldn’t go back
The hotel wasn’t completely horrible but it wasn’t pleasant. The receptionist was very rude from beginning to end. After checking in, I went to my room to discover there was no air conditioning, the tv didn’t work, and the phone didn’t work. The view was pretty and there was a complementary breakfast. Plus a nice pool. So, like I said, not completely horrible. But during the summer (which was when I stayed at the hotel), I need air conditioning. It was miserable without it. Plus, it was not near anything but was able to take a bus anywhere for 1,25 euro/trip (not bad).
Traveler's tip on shopping
There is a nice mall, called Porto Pi. You can take bus 3 to get there from the hotel. It has a bunch of restaurants plus an arcade for the kids.

Would go back
Great hotel (La Cala), right next to Santa Ana. The hotel staff was wonderful--very helpful,courteous, and warm. The three meals a day all-inclusive deal made our stay very comfortable. We even got an ocean view room for no extra charge. The beach was awesome and right in front of the hotel. The rooms could you more comfortable, especially the beds--but would go back again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The bus to downtown (no. 3) costs only 1.10 euros one way and gets you to the center of downtown (Juan Carles way) in 20 minutes. It stops 2 minutes away from the hotel. Also, these run till 12:35 a.m. in the morning. The downtown has great eating places (especially La Lloja street) and the cathedral and Palace La Alumadaina are at the end of the street from the bus stop.
