Cozy room in a beautfiul neighborhood
The Gabelshus is a beautiful place in a leafy, inviting neighborhood. The room was clean and pleasant. It was small by American standards but felt cozy because it was just me. The complementary breakfast and dinner were excellent. I would love to go back.
Getting from the airport to the Gabelshus by train and trolley isn’t too difficult, but allow plenty of time.

Great place to stay!!
This hotel is conveniently located near a streetcar stop which makes getting around in Oslo very easy. The room was neat and comfortable. Best of all was the great breakfast! In addition, the coffee is always on, there are Norwegian waffles at 3:00 and a light supper is served each night. With two meals provided by your hotel, staying in Oslo is made a lot less expensive.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Go the Traffikanten and buy a week’s pass on public transportation. If you are there more than three days, this is a real money saver since public transportation is expensive.

The area where the Hotel is located is fantastic, very calm and elegant.
