Fantastic!
Entered the lobby of the hotel within minutes of departing our plane. We loved the hotel lobby, front desk personel, the room and our dinner at DEMA in the hotel lobby. I would very much recommend this hotel. Located at Detro Metro Airport one might be concerned about noise. Not so. With thick glass windows we never heard a single airplane all night but then again who would while sleeping in their comfortable beds.
Traveler's tip on dining
If you are only staying one night and don’t plan on eating at the hotel I recommend getting something to eat in the terminal as once you enter the hotel you will not be able to get back into the terminal as the entrance is guarded and then locked up for the night.

Expect to pay for all that luxury and convenience!
Absolutely nothing bad to say about this stylish, upscale Westin, other than the ammenities -- bar and restaurant, especially -- are overpriced. If you have no problem with an $18 waffle, then by all means, book it. It’s conveniently located on airport property and valet parking makes it fast and safe. But come on guys, an $18 waffle? Tab for two meals exceeded cost of room for one night.

Relatively short "curb front." Know where you’re going before you arrive. Traffic moves quickly. You might drive right by and find yourself back on I-94, wondering what the heck just happened.
