Not a bad value
I liked this hotel and will go back. My room was clean and the eating area was decent. There were a couple things that annoyed me however: 1. About 7am in the morning, they decided to carpet steam clean the hallway. The sound was so loud the walls were vibrating. When I walked out of my room, the fellow operating the steamer had ear protection on to protect his hearing. They don’t seem to really care about you having a restful sleep. 2. The shower head is the pits., and the pressure was horrible You cannot angle it towards you, it only goes straight down.
Don’t stay in Lynchburg any longer than you have to.

Much better than expected
I stayed here in October while in town for my 25th high school reunion. The lobby and pool, fitness areas, etc. were very well laid out. I had a problem with my key at check-in and when I went back down to the lobby to get it straightened out, they escorted me back to my room so that they would be there to help me if there was still an issue. There wasn’t, but I appreciated the effort. The room was clean and comfortable and spacious. I had quite a bit of a wait after check-out time for the rest of my party to be ready to leave town and the front desk staff was very accomodating in allowing me to hang out in the lobby, have computer access, etc. Overall, very impressed with the service and cleanliness of the hotel. I did read the other reviews about the loud bar. I did poke my head in and it was quite rowdy, but I was staying just above the bar on the next floor and did not hear anything in my room.

Hidden Jewel
Fairly old, Bland exterior is overwhelmed by exquisite interior. King Bed room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. HD television was a bonus. Bedding was superior to hotel norms. I actually detoured 30 miles on return trip to stay a second time.
