Needs to be updated
The bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy, way too soft. The bathroom was dirty, moldy, and the tub was rotting. Two of the 3 nights we had a HUGE spider in the room. I would not go back unless I knew it had upgrades made and some major modifications.

The Price is Right
The room was clean enough and the service was good. However, the entrance door would not lock and the bathroom door would not close. The only access to the parking lot is directly off Highway 74, which is a heavily traveled high-speed four-lane divided highway -- a bit unsafe.

The Shelby Cafe on Layfayette is the best place in town to eat, especially breakfast.

Not at all satisfied
front desk clerk when I checked in was very helpful, however the clerk the next morning - had to chase her down to get any service. fresh milk was added to obviously soured milk - it was replaced but no apology just a "it was fresh last night" - didn’t care about last night - it was sour that morning. I forgot my purse in the common area - clerk had it when I went back but my $80 was missing - why was the clerk not watching the lobby?
