Alain Chapel

Dombes is the region of a thousand lagoons-but it is also the perfect region for people who love to hunt for treasure- as it is the land of second-hand furniture and antique dealers. What about culinary tradition- in the village of Mionnay- made famous by Alain Chapel- this gastronomic Mecca remains the gold standard. Bresse Chicken is on the menu of course- as well as local frog legs- but every ingredient is fully enhanced by the young chef Philippe Jousse- the deserving successor of the former master of the property. You will also find noble products such as blue lobster and white truffle- depending on the season- with a refined and original twist. This lovely little hotel- a former post house- takes you to the heights of excellent cuisine.
