A Good Value for Your Money
The hotel is conveniently located in Flushing, NY, Chinatown, close to bus routes that is accessible from Laguardia and connects you to places such as Queens College CUNY. It is also very close to a number of great restaurants nearby. The hotel room was clean (NO BEDBUGS), comfortable bed and sheets, and bathroom in good working order and condition. Accommodations are adequate and not fancy--basic toiletries, large flat screen TV, limited cable selection, free coffee in room, complimentary breakfast, newspaper, and free WI-FI connection. The staff was very helpful with ground transportation information, providing me with maps, and was able to accommodate me with an early check-in request due to a time-crunch that I had. Just be aware that Super Shuttle does not service this area from Laguardia. One drawback was having a room on the basement floor. There are no open windows and no central air--the only air exchange is through the air-conditioning unit that is at the sidewalk level and the filters were in need of serious cleaning. Subsequently, it felt stuffy in the room at times. In spite of this, overall, it is a good deal for your money if you have to visit Queens, NY.

A Good Budget Hotel
Everything was clean, staff was friendly, and just a block or two waya on the same street was an excellent (and cheap!) Chinese restaurant- the best food we ate in all of our NY stay. Close to subway to Grand Central-- all in all a great place to stay.

Convenient, but not a great hotel
The location is great, with a 20 min subway ride to Time Square. Also if you like lots of Chinese restaurants and grocery stores, this hotel has a perfect location. However, their service was so so. And when we first entered our room, it had a weird smell, which went away the next day. The price is not bad for the location, but if you have high standard of comfort and service, you should pay some extra to stay in a nicer hotel.
