OK
It was OK not the nicest place I have stayed in, but definitely not anywhere near the worst either.

Great Hotel!!!
This hotel was great! It is an older hotel (not some cookie-cutter modern place), but the new owners have renovated and updated the whole hotel, and added Wi-Fi throughout the building. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff was very friendly, and their spa was just fabulous- the best massage I have ever had! We were just driving through Hot Springs and could only stay one night, but we enjoyed it so much that we are planning to come back for a week with the kids.
Traveler's tip on dining
Rolandos is just awesome! It is a locally owned little place that serves Ecuadorian food. If you like Mexican food, try this place. They also have excellent drinks and desserts.

Exactly what we wanted!
We really liked this hotel. We were there for a mini-vacation and we had a blast. Our daughter especially liked the pool on the second floor. It is in the historic part of town and close to lots of fun things to do. Also if you get a room on the front, you can see all up and down the street from the balcony.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
There is so much to do in Hot Springs! Ask a hotel desk clerk for one of the free maps with all the attractions on it. The Gangster Museum is really neat.
