Find a Different Hotel in This Area

This hotel is in a GREAT location in the old city -- less than 5 minutes walk to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, etc. and the building has a lot of charm/character. However, the neighborhood is very noisy in the evenings, with lots of restaurants/bars, which makes sleeping difficult if you don’t want to be up all night partying. The beds were awful (mattresses and linens) even by European standards. The hotel has a lot going for it as far as location, but needs some serious comfort updates and soundproofing.

Great Location

The two best things about this hotel are the great service and location. It is located near many of Istanbul’s great attractions. The buffet breakfast is also very good. The building is old and the elevator very small. Our room faced a very busy neighborhood street which was lined with outdoor cafes. The noise was continuous until 2 a.m. Had we stayed longer we would have requested a room on the other side of the building facing a much quieter street. Other than the noise factor I would recommend this hotel.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Great location and easy walking to the palace, several mosques, other sites and public transportation.

Awsome location for tourists

The hotel is small and homey, the staff are very friendly, the location is awesome, close to all tourist attractions; the food was average , but very acceptable; a lot of cafes and night life right around the hotel. Our room was a suite for 4 people, and quite comfortable. We had the water view and it was absolutely breath taking!!!

Traveler's tip on dining

For the best rooftop experience, go to seven-Hills hotel/restaurant which is a couple of blocks from the hotel.
