Decent for a Place to Sleep

We stayed at the hotel for a one night stay so we could be closer to Pompeii/Ercolano and we were glad to stay only one night. It’s tucked in the back of the Station area, which almost makes it seem like a sketchier place to be than the main street. The room was decent, although the bathroom was probably the 5th best out of the 7 hotels/hostels we stayed at on vacation. The air conditioning worked well and there was a fridge to refrigerate our water bottles. The concierge was moderately helpful with directions, but their English was only okay. They didn’t seem to be very friendly to tourists, so my impression of the hotel isn’t incredibly positive. But to be fair, the condition of the room was exactly what we needed - a bed to sleep on and a hot shower. There was supposed to be a breakfast, but we left the hotel at 6:45 and it still hadn’t been set up by then.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Don’t expect an uber-friendly concierge. But they will offer directions if you know where you want to go. The shower stall is somewhat small, with no soap dish or ledge, so be prepared to bend down to pick up your soap and shampoo. Stay safe. The surrounding area of the train station is sketchier than Rome’s Stazione Termini. If you can, go to Trianon for Neapolitan pizza. Avoid the touristy restaurants along the main strip by the station/hotel.
