Not Impressed
We stayed in a garden apartment that smelled. The master shower leaked a stream out the bathroom door. It was extremely close to one of the pools. However, the pool area was not picked up with trash around. The main pool was nicer and the apartments over there looked nicer. The buffet breakfast was more like a continental breakfast and wasn’t cheap (for what you got). You could walk to a market and the beach. I would have preferred to stay at a nicer hotel in the mountains.

.The staff was extremely helpful in suggesting day trips and restaurants.. The hotel is a short distance walk to the beach.Grocery store and Pharmacy are also walking distance, and the restaurant Elviria is fabulous. Our rooms were clean, spacious and had everything we needed.
Make sure you take the correct currency with you or cash before going to the Rock of Gibraltar- they do not accept credit cards. Most of the shopping stalls and stores close for siesta from 3-5

very impressed
The hotel was beautifully and conveniently located near the beach and the bus stop.There are convenient stores,bars and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. It certainly met our expectations. The staff are extremely nice and helpful.They speak English, which is a plus for any traveller who do not speak fluent Spanish like us. I certainly would recommend this to others who are planning to visit Marbella.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
You can take a bus going back and forth to downtown Marbella and/or Puerto Banus from the hotel, rather than take a taxi which is quite costly.
