Very clean and comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff. Good location. We highly recommend it.
I was torn between staying at the Marriott Resort and Timothy Beach Hotel. However, I decided to stay at Timothy Beach becacue it is on the Caribbean side of the island, where the water is warmer and calmer. I made the rigth decision, because we could snorkel right off the beach where we could see colorful fish, squid, turtle etc. Our room was spacious , the king size bed was very comfortable and the staff were very freindly and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The location was the best on the island, just a few steps from the "Stirp" where all the night life takes place: good local restaurants, great local bands, dancing, etc. The Strip is the place to be in the evenings specially on Thursdays and Fridays. And if you want to scuba dive, I highly recommend Dive St. Kitts. They are the best and will take you to the best diving. We can’t wait to go back!

Kind of a dump!
While the bartender and front desk staff were friendly, we were shown to a room with a broken bed and air conditioner. We were moved to a room with an air conditioner that made a squealing noise on and off thruout our stay. We complained twice(after losing sleep each of our first 2 nights). After it still wasn’t fixed (and without any feed back from the hotel) we checked out and changed hotels after a sleepless 3rd night.

THE PLACE TO BE
The overall maintenance of the property needs much work. The A/C does not work all too great and the decor and bedding is suffering as well. However you cant beat the location on this island. All of the hot spots are right at your door step.All that happens on this island pretty much happens right there. The restaurant and bar that share the property with Timothy Beach Resort are great. Food is great and reasonably priced. Staff is quite friendly and welcoming. This can be said about many people on this small and wonderfully quaint island. If you are not looking to spend alot of money and can do without an abundance of amenities and looking for a great time and convenient location. Timothy Beach Resort is the place for you. Friday nights on Timothy Beach is party central.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Also visit Reggae Beach 7 miles from the resort. Great atmosphere at the bar and grill.
