Adequate for rock-bottom price.

Good deal for for the money. You can’t possibly get a cheaper room anywhere without having to worry about dirt, noise and so on. One pillow cover had a stain that didn’t wash out in the laundry. It should not have been used.

I wouldn’t bring family here, unless money was an absolute show-stopper. It’s just suitable for a lone guy to get off the road for a few hours.

Ft. Worth Microtel

Not fancy but nice, clean. Recommend it for those wanting nice/clean hotel at modest cost. Includes contential breakfast; the usual, danish, coffee, orange juice, bagels, cereal etc, and fruit.

Clean, Quiet and Cheap

The hotel appears to be of recent construction. It’s fairly clean, has working ac, a computer to use at your discretion in the lobby, and even continental breakfast for a low price. I was happy with my stay. The expressway is about 1 block away from the hotel.

Not impressed with service

I arrived early from a 500+ mile trip and asked for an early check-in and was told there were no rooms available, on a Wednesday, and I would have to wait until 3. It was obvious that rooms were available after waiting until 3. The desk clerks were more concerned with the standard checkin time of 3 instead of taking care of a customer. I will never return.

Continental breakfast was so-so. Service also.

Pleasantly Surprised

Great hotel for the price. Rooms were large with plenty of sleeping space. Close to several good restaurants and bar. Staff was friendly. Bed was very comfortable. I plan to stay again.

Make sure you bring extra blankets. No bedding for the sleeper sofa. Blankets on bed weren’t very thick.

Worth the money

I was very pleased with everything except they need a $200 smoking penalty. My first night, I thought the a/c smelled smoky, but it turned out I had smoking neighbors. I had to turn it off. The second night was completely different.

Can’t Recommend

I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke and chose this Hotel because is billed as a non-smoking Hotel. However, some patrons have clearly ignored that billing and smoked anyway. My room reeked of cigarette smoke. After one unpleasant night, I left the Hotel sick and remained sick for the next week. Tip to the Hotel: Once a room has been smoked in, the smoke permiates every fiber in the room and can only be removed with ozone treatments or by completely referbishing the room with painting and replacing draperies, carpets, mattresseses, etc. The effects of smoke cannot be covered up with fresheners. Impose a cleaning fee for smokers who violate your policy to cover the high cost of repairing their damage.

If you’re sensitive to smoke, make sure you specify as you’re checking in that you want a room that has not been smoked in.

Clean room, plenty of space

For the price this Hotel was much nicer than I thought, My wife and I go into FortWorth three times a year the the races, we stay four nights, this was our first time at this hotel and we have already made reservations for the next two races this year, the room was clean, more than enough room for two, service was great, couldn’t ask for more for the price!!!!!!!!!!

Good value

This hotel is a newer hotel and well worth the value. Unfortunately for me, the pillows were very thick and I could not sleep with those pillows or without a pillow so I did not sleep well at all. My husband did not sleep well either because he thought the mattress was too soft. Their continental breakfast rates really low (OJ is fake)and just was not impressed. Nonetheless, it was a good price and I’ll bring my own pillow next time!

Clean and large rooms. Smelled fresh like it had just been disinfected. Felt safer than some other hotels I have stayed in.

Great for the money

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel to conduct business with Texas Christian University. The location was great and we were able to use our navigation device to explore the city. The only issue we had was the slow draining of the tube but with patience, everything else was satisfactory. The no smoking policy was welcoming and we didn’t have to worry with smokey sheets or hallways. We will use again in the future. Anita Alston-Palm

Shabby hotel

The hotel is an old convert. All the rooms reek of smoke. Staff was very courteous. Breakfast was non-existent. Advertised a hot breakfast, and there just wasn’t anything. I would stay at one of the marriotts nearby for 20 bucks more if u could do it again.

Would stay there again

The room was clean and comfortable, accommodating with the micro and fridge, which is always our preference. Breakfast could have been a little better.

Nice and Clean

Was my first time to visit Fort Worth and found this hotel to be in a very good location. We were minutes away from all the local attractions. Very close to 2 major high ways. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was very clean and extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Mediocre

It was ok for the price. The room wasn’t very clean and the A/C needed to be serviced, but other than that is was more comfortable than most hotels for that price.

Nice hotel

I thought the hotel was very nice. The only complaint is the heater for the hot tub was broke. After checking in to it we found it had been broke for a long time. The pool repair person said that he was waiting for Microtel corp to give him the OK to fix it. He couldn’t undertand why they were waiting, except that they did’t want to spend the money.

Small room and smelly air conditioner

The room was pretty small for 4 people and the air conditioner had a moldy mildewy odor when it was on. It was 95 degrees out, so we didn’t have a choice. At least it was only for 1 night.

This is no fancy hotel, but it was perfect for me. I brought my dog along and they were absolutely great with everything.
