Pay for the pool - don’t get the pool
We sought out a hotel with a pool. We drove 9 hours from Naples. Kids and grand kids drove 6 hours from Virginia Beach. We looked forward to spending an afternoon cooling off in the pool and giving the grand kids some exercise before leaving the next day with the grand kids back to Naples. The hotel information didn’t tell us the pool was located across the 4 lane roadway at their "across the road" wing. It was set up right at the four lane. Once there we couldn’t see the bottom of the pool for the algae. Talked to the hotel person who called someone, but an after dinner check and the pool was still unfit and unclean.
