It Depends
Due to recent terrorist attack in Mumbai, there are road blocks almost 3 blocks from the hotel. Guests had to take walk from road blocks. Also, every time u come back from outside multiple level of security checks happens. It feels like you are going to airport. Hotel Staff is courteous. I was staying at Luxury room. It has OK view - depends upon what u get. It has decent level of comfort but the bathrooms are excellent. Room Service is prompt and delicious.
Traveler's tip on dining
Ming Yang Restaurant serves excellent Chinese food. Don’t get the car-service from hotel - super expensive. Cool cabs are much better options.

unrivaled comfort
Not much to say except .... the TAJ chain must be on THE best hospitality operations in this world. The Taj Lands End is a very comfortable property with ALL amenities one could dream of. The cuisine is superb. I have been there before, and going back soon. Not that far away from the international airport Sahar.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
Go for an early morning jog or walk on the Bandra Bandstand ... hotel staff can show you the way. It’s in walking distance from the hotel and safe.

5 star hotel for moderate cost
Great view if your room face the ocean. Don’t get worried going to the hotel passing through some quite run down areas and the streets are a mess, but on other hand-that is norm in Mumbai. Great food in any of the resturants. Relaxed and people watching in the lobbey bar.

With a large cosmopolitan population in Mumbai, Bandra is famous for its churches, temples and mosques; the Bandra Mosque on SV Road and Mount Mary’s Basilica stands out in particular. Bandra also boasts one of Mumbai’s most popular shopping destinations, and millions of people troop onto Linking Road every year. Over the years, Bandra has also gained the title of the "Restaurant Suburb of Mumbai". More restaurants open and close in Bandra every few months than any other location in Mumbai.

First Class Relaxing Stay
I’ve traveled extensively over the years, and stayed many times in Mumbai, and of all the first class hotels I’ve stayed, this hotel wins in the category of personalized service. They go all the way to make sure you are comfortable, taken care of, and enjoying your stay. Most staff members know your name and address you by name. The food in the restaurants was quite good too! The room was lovely with high ceilings, nice decor, heavy drapes that open and close with a button at your bedside, as did the lamps and room tempurature also operate from the same bedside panel of buttons. All rooms I believe have a sea view. The bathroom was wonderful, opened with heavy mirrored double doors into an all marble large room with large tub, separate glassed in shower and water closet. Nice bathrobe and plenty of towels. Good business center, nice big fitness room, and lovely pool area. They have a small bookstore that is also packed with interesting small souvenirs, as well as a beauty parlor, (had a great mani/pedi), and affordable massage that was quite good. .

Great Place to stay...
Easy 5... they go the extra mile for a great service. They even had news clippings sent to my room from related to my country of residence just in case I did not catch the news so I stay updated. Really recommended. Plus the breakfast buffet is amazing and the overall staff are very friendly.

Extremely Impressed
Have stayed in quite a few Mumbai hotels but this was by far the best experience. The service was personalised and impeccable, the food good and the rooms very comfortable. One incident of housekeeping neglect was met with a deluge of apologies and make ups. This will be my first choice in mumbai from now on - already recommended it to friends. Keep the good work up.
