Great Stay
Impressive Hotel...Unfortunately, there was construction in the area. The breakfast buffet was not that great and a little high priced.

Great rooms and great location
We have just spent 3 nights in Shanghai at the Westin and I could not recommend it enough. The staff spoke excellent English and were both accomodating with special requests (rooms close to each other for our whole party), and helpful with advice on where to eat / what trips to take / shows to see. We were lucky enough to be upgraded for free and had the most enormous rooms with beautiful bathrooms, huge bath and separate shower room. We saw everything we wanted to by walking from the hotel, it was very centrally located for the Bund and the old town. My father was with us, he is in his 70’s and I am nearly 30. We both thought this was a superb hotel. The only downside was that drinks in the hotel were exceptionally expensive, but there are enough restaurants nearby to be able to just enjoy the hotel for the room and eat outside.
