Great Staff & Good Room
I would recommend the hotel to those visiting, the hotel staff was VERY helpful and spoke great english. The hotel is located a short walk to the best sight in Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia and only a short cab ride to the other sights (~7 euro). The only complaint with the rooms was that the beds were uncomfortable. Everything else was on par or better than what we expected.

Good Price/Performance
This Hotel is located near Plaça Tetuan, about 20-30 minute walk North of Las Ramblas. There is also a Metro station at Tetuan, if one is in a hurry. I stayed in a single room, which was small, but efficiently arranged, with a twin bed. Positives: working air-conditioning, quiet neighborhood, helpful staff. Negatives: Free Wi-Fi does not reach the room (I was on the fifth floor), the shower leaks water onto the bathroom floor, (at least there’s a drain), and the buffet breakfast is not included - an extra 12 EUR - I went to local pastry shops instead.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Take the commuter train from the Airport to Passeig de Gracia, instead of a taxi. Buy the 10 trip metro pass (I think around 11 EUR). When you arrive at the station, you must switch to the metro to Tetuan, which is almost as far as walking directly to the hotel. Get out at commuter station and walk two blocks to Gran Via, turn left, and head to Pl. Tetuan; it’s a better view than inside of a subway.
