We have already recommended to friends traveling there. And we intend to stay there on our next trip as well. Staff was fabulous.

short walk to Dubai Creek, museums along creek, and souks. recommend a dinner cruise on the creek.

very noisy
overall the hotel was excellent but noisy at night as our room was above the resturant and a club. if you stay, get a room on a higher floor. our window didn’t open and there was no hot water.

ascot a good place to be
i’ve stayed at the ascot in the past. it has all ways been a place of comfort. comfort in both mind and pocket. the ascot is in the middle of bur dubai. close to shopping and atractions. the hotel is very clean. the rooms are keep and attended to by a wonderful staff. they will help with any thing they can. the house keeping staff always have a smile, and are very personable. the front desk team have a tough job, but they handle it with professionalism and grace. the likes of witch you would expect at a 7 star hotel. i have enjoyed the restaurants and bars as well. for instance the thai/chiness restaurant. you can get a great meal. with large portions, and a couple of drinks for a very good price. in closeing this hotel is one of the better hotels in bur dubai. i would recomend it to other people, and i have many times to friends and family.

take advantage of the concierge. they have wonderful day trips and tour for any intrest and budget.
