Great getaway out of the city
The spa was under serious construction when i visited so the esthetics were not that great, however the service and price more than made up for it. Lucan is small village outside of Dublin (20-25 minutes by bus). There is a bus stop about a 7-10 minute walk from the hotel. The rooms are quite small but clean.

Village life in Dublin
The hotel is in "Greater Dublin" and so a trip of about half an hour into the City. It is near old Lucan Village, a charming place, not the usual Dublin suburb. Lots of locals come to the restaurant. The nearby pub has good entertainment.

The park along the River Liffy, Lucan Demense, is lovely, and a five min. walk from the hotel.

Weekend in Ireland
Staff was very friendly and helpful..Would deff consider returning if going to that area.
