Nasty
This had to be one of the worst hotel rooms I’ve EVER stayed in. The very first thing I noticed when I opened the door to the room is that the fire/smoke alarm was not there. There were wires coming out of a hole on the wall where a fire/smoke alarm should have been mounted. The second thing I noted was the "wet" carpet in front of the sink. After I got settled in, I took my shoes off (I typically go barefooted when I’m indoors). The bottom of my feet looked like I had been walking outside....almost black. Then I found beetles on the floor. Some were dead...some were not. Laying in bed that night, I looked up at the ceiling and saw spider webs....ALOT of spider webs. This motel obviously had some wear on it and was not not very well maintained. The furnishings were at their best, very outdated and very cheap. The paint on the walls did not appear professional as the wall paint was on the ceiling. I will never stay in that hotel again and I relayed this message to the other Alumni who also had traveled for this gathering.

2 Nights in Kosciusko
Wasn’t expecting a lot but I was pleasantly surprised to find a very clean & comfortable room. I will probably stay there again if the need arises. No problems at all.

Find somewhere else to stay
When we got into the room it was not ready for people to be in there. No towels in the room, the toilet was stopped up, no hot water from the sink, the a/c was making an aweful noise which turned out to be a broken cover, the beds were very unconfortable and the main thing was the door wouldn’t lock and could be opened without a key. The only thing I found to be nice was the swimming pool but a lot of locals used it as a public swimming pool and we couldn’t really enjoy it because of that.
