Very nice
Affordable, clean, friendly staff, and the breakfast in town was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, near excellent park and walking path in Redding
We had a great stay, went walking in the morning at the nearby park and riverwalk. Close to the acquatic swimming area, skateboard park, and Turtlebay Discovery area. Great breakfast at local restaraunt.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet
This older motel is well-maintained and very clean. It offers several nice ammenities like a fitness facility and laundry. The service was courteous and helpful.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
Although breakfast is included in the room price, it is in the form of a chit for a restaurant that is in downtown Redding, several miles away. The restaurant was very good, but might not be the most convenient for someone with time constraints.

Good value
Friendly service, clean and comfortable rooms with lots of extras for the price. When we were there the breakfast was served at a great restaurant a few miles away. Best included breakfast for the money we’ve had.

Overall nice place to stay
Nice place to stay on our way home to Washington. Hotel was clean, staff was nice, pool was wonderful, and the small breakfast voucher/credit for Denny’s was a nice treat from the usual continental breakfast.

Above what was promised
I read trip advisor reviews when deciding where to stay in Redding. The reviews for Travelodge were excellent and the service, cleanliness and comfort exceeded our expectations. Lots of extra perks not mentioned in their overview like free breakfast at Denny’s were nice additions. We definately suggest them!

A Nice Place
on this trip, we stayed in a number of hotels, what set this one apart was a choice of a breakfast to-go or a voucher at Denny’s restaraunt. We chose the voucher, and although it was a small amount, it was enough food to fill us up. It was a fun alternative to the simple microwave eggs at other hotels.

simple comfort
The staff was friendly. The room and bathroom were clean, beds were comfortable. Temperature of room was easy to control. There was fridge & microwave in the room. And it was nice and quiet. They provided breakfast vouchers for a local Denny’s or a sack breakfast of yogurt, fruit, juice & danish. My only issue being that Denny’s was a couple exits down the road. It was great for our needs. I would stay there again if I was passing through Redding.

not impressed!
Not a really impressive place to stay. We had ants in our room; not alot, but enough to be annoying. Front desk staff were not really helpful; seem to be put out with me when I was asking a couple of questions. I will not visit this place again.

Impressive disabled access
While the walls in this place are a bit thin (could’ve been partly due to the connecting door in our room), there was one BIG thing that set this place apart from the rest...they had a chair lift at the pool! I went to the pool with my family thinking I’d just watch my wife & kids swim like normal, but I was able to get out of my wheelchair and go into the pool with them!!! Granted, the water was COLD, but it didn’t matter. We’ve been to many hotels & motels, including 5-star places, and have never seen a chair lift at the pool before.

The Shasta Pizza Company delivers pizza, subs, and a host of other foods to this hotel. Good food, pretty reasonable prices.
