Not impressed
It is just OK. The room was clean and well maintenanced but the staff looked unfriendly.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Compere of the price, Nathan Hotel is greater than the most of Hotels in HongKong. Also easy to get shopping spots.

Nathan Hotel
A short walk from the main Tsim Sha Tsui area, the Nathan hotel allows a bit less crowded enterance to the Nathan st., a 15 minutes walk from the pier and 2 minutes from Jordan metro station.

Good hotel
This hotel has a good location. Nice Front Desk staff. I did, however, have to call 3 times before maintenance/housekeeping came to my unit to fix something. Overall, it was a nice hotel.

Good value
First time visit to HK. Have been in many other parts of Asia. Upgrade to Nathan room was worth it, good breakfast and internet included. All transportation close and airport A21 bus stops next to hotel. A good choice for short or long stay.

Excellent Hotel
Good service! I arrived at the Nathan Hotel at 1:45AM. I had problems with the Hotel safe in my room. The Hotel manager came up and solved the problem very fast. The room was remodeled. Very clean. Air conditioner worked very well! Free internet is plus! Would stay there again!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The Nathan Hotel had a office where you could book different tours in the Hong Kong area I took a 5 hour tour which was very nice. I went to Man Mo Temple, Victoria Peak, Aberdeen Fishing Village where you go on a small boat called a Sampam, Cruise through Repluse Bay by bus and visit Stanley Market where you can pick up some souvenirs.

Surprisingly spacious, convenient location
The Nathan Hotel in YauMaTei is a solid choice for the mid-range traveler who desires convenience, spacious rooms and acceptable prices. It is within walking to several attractions, such as temple street, various other markets, and the historic Nathan road itself. The rooms are surprisingly large, the bed was the nicest out of the 3 places I stayed in HK. Pricing is on par with what youd expect out of mid-range places in the US, making the Nathan Hotel worth the price of admission for those seeking a comfortable place to lay their heads after running around in the chaos of HK streets and subways.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
- A word of note to Western travelers, beds in China and HK tend to be harder than those in the US, not a black mark on the hotel. - HK is a busy place, as is Nathan Road. For light sleepers I suggest asking for as high a floor as possible. - They will store your luggage for several days, even after you are done staying at their hotel.

Will use again...
I travel to mainland China 3 to 4 times per year. For the last two trips, I have taken a little weekend excursion to Hong Kong. Because most of my time in HK is spent pub-crawling in Lan Kwai Fong I am not keen on spending a lot of money on a hotel room. Having said that, I was quite impressed with the Nathan Hotel, conveniently located on Nathan Road. Youre within walking distance of great shopping and Murphys for an early start to the day. The staff at the Nathan are quite helpful and friendly, while the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Moderate
I enjoyed the stay but got really bad service. I booked two rooms and one of the rooms was on the 14th floor right next to the bar. They did not tell us about it and then the whole night peopel were coming and going at the door of the room up until 3 am . We inforemd them about the situation , they rectified it by transferring us in another roonm but were not sincerely apologetic about it. They knew that the room was not sound proof but still gave us the room.

A small room in a great location.
Its location couldnt be better, you will hardly find a better option at that rate. You wont be thrilled about the room but in HK is not uncommon to have pretty much less space that many other places around the world. Anyway its a good place to stay, it has a nice open-air bar at the top floor and their staff is kind and helpful.

Recently Renovated
This hotel has been around for awhile but has recently been renovated. The rooms are reasonably priced and very spacious compared to what you normally get in Hong Kong and the hotel is in a good location where everything is within reach by a short MTR or bus ride.
Traveler's tip
The closest MTR station to the hotel is Jordan. It is about 10 minute walk. So, if you have lots of suitcases, you might want to take a taxi from Kowloon Station
