beautiful setting

it is a beautiful hotel, not too far and very luxurious with large rooms, tall windows and ceilings, great bathrooms, most of the rooms have indoor large courtyard views and not lagoon views so do not bother (as I did) to get the latter and spend more money,as they may be unavailable and the lagoon mist in the morning blocks the view anyway, also the restaurants and bars offer food that is very expensive(even for venice standards!) with food quality that is so so,I would stay there again next time for the cleanliness, spaciousness and sense of exclusivity but choose other restaurants and stick to standard room accomodations.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

use the spa,is great, with two large indoor jacuzzi circular pool

quiet & luxurious but food is expensive.

rooms are large, clean (although we did find some mildew in the bath) and comfortable. Very quiet & exclusive. Excellent and very helpful front desk. Good commute service to San Marco square. Restuarants are good, but very expensive. I think this was the biggest negative. Tea costs 7 euros!
