It’s a shame...
This hotel has an excellent location if you are doing business or leisure in Scottsdale and want to enjoy the old down town, fashion square, etc. However, simply put, the place is a dump and given it’s surroundings and the overall clientele it could potentially be working to attract, it’s a shame. The place is in need of serious refurbishing and gave the feeling and mood of being grungy, cheap, dirty and second rate. And, I’m not really that picky. But I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels in the area (I have business there quite often) for similar and even lower rates that were exponentially better experiences. Again, it’s really a shame, since you really can’t beat the location. I was able to arrive at the hotel and do two days worth of local business and pleasure, and didn’t need to get in my car again.

Needs some work
Hotel is becoming old and a little seedy and needs a great deal of remodeling. However, the location is great. The management is very accomodating but had to move us around to find a satisfactory room.
