So-So Decor
So, I guess I was expecting something along the lines of Atlantis in the Bahamas, because the hotel fell short of my expectations. I did, however, enjoy my stay and all the entertainment at the other Barcelo hotels/resorts. I had an amazing time. If you can look past the decor, you’ll totally enjoy your stay!

The Barcelo Bavaro Resort Complex has so much to offer: Variety of food, entertainment, shops, beautiful beach, etc. No reason to be bored. The landscape making up the walk ways and existing area is BEAUTIFUL! The help is very friendly and accomidating. Enjoy, have fun, and relax. Take it all in and go again, and again, and again!!!!!!

Go on the Jeep Safari you will not be disappointed. Great from the start to the end.

Definitely not impressed!
I stayed at the Barcelo Resort in Punta Cana six years ago and I had an amazing time; however, this time I was not impressed at all. The food was terrible and the drinks tasted as if they were watered down. Beside the food and drinks the hotel rooms were disgusting. The beds were uncomfortable and there were bugs all over the room. The room also smelled very muggy. Overall I was not too happy about the resort.
