No water pressure in showers
Understanding that there was a convention in town, this was the only alternative. The room was cramped and the water pressure and hot water was almost non-esistent. Look at other options before selecting travellodge.

Nothing bad, nothing great
If you’re looking for a place just to sleep, this is a decent choice. When I was there, the free wi-fi has some issues, but the free wired Internet worked fine. The hotel is located near a mission for homeless people. Harmless people, but might intimidate some.
Traveler's tip on dining
The Reading Terminal Market is two blocks away and provides lots of different foods for one to try. It’s also a local attraction.

not that great.
the beds were as hard as rocks. the room itself was clean, and the staff was friendly. the hotel smelled like smoke. the breakfast buffet was pretty lame. it was open for three hours, and i went down after the first hour of being open. the buffet (which consisted of bagels and muffins) was completely wiped out. the juice and coffee containers were all empty, and i didn’t see anybody down there restocking anything. i was disappointed. :( overall, i wouldn’t recommend the hotel as a place for a comfortable vacation. great if you’re only looking for a place to crash.
