Not impressed

Overall, this is not a bad hotel. The hotel staff is nice and helpful in general. The buffet breakfast is average, but is plenty enough to fill you up for at least half a day. We particularly do not like the location of the hotel. It is about 10 minutes’ walk from the metro station, but the neighborhood is not too safe (as I was told). We saw drug addict injecting himself at a park nearby on our way back to the hotel early evening one day. It was a bit scarry! If I do return to Prague, I will choose another hotel close to Charles Bridge.

Pleasantly Suprized

The hotel is conveniently located between the Karlovo Namesti/ Muzuem subway stations, 5-10 minutes walk from either station. The staff was quite friendly, accomodating, and spoke good English. There is an elevator, although there were stairs inside my room, which could be an issue for disabled. There room had high ceilings, a big bathtub and the windows were well insulated so street noise was not an issue. I did not have a chance to try any of the additional ammenities, as they were closed by the time I arrived, and I left before the breakfast which is included. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my experience.

A jewel of a hotel

A first class experience in all regards. The staff were all highly efficient and non obtrusive. Any special requests were handled easily and very quickly. The breakfast supplied was easily the finest I have encountered in years of travelling. Location was ideal as well - not too far from the old town, but far enough to be less hectic. The room had all the amenities you would expect and then some. The bath had a magnifying mirror. The safe in the closet was of a nice size and easy to use. I look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Traveler's tip on nightlife

Ideally situated between old city and the gay district. Club "Termix" was exceptional - Valentino’s was also quite nice
