For our purposes, needing to be close to downtown, this hotel was perfect!

My stay at the Holiday Inn
The hotel was nice. Getting there was a bit tricky, since it was my first time to Wichita. I had been flying all day, found the hotel, went through the drive through at Wendy’s across the street to get my first meal of the day, and went to check in at the hotel. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and checked me in quickly, but once I got to my room, the keycards didn’t work. There I was, holding my two bags, a drink, and my bag from Wendy’s struggling with the door. Finally, I go back down to the front desk and there’s nobody at the counter. I go back to my room to try again, and nothing. Back to the desk I go, and tell her my keys dont work. She radios to the maintenence guy, who responds "I was in there earlier today and my keys worked fine" like I dont know how to use the keycards or I’m lying about it. So, he shows up and escorts me to the room, uses his master key to open it, and then tried mine, which then work fine with him saying, "this has happened before, it doesn’t make sense." It happened again the next night after I got back from being at a bar with my local friends I was visiting. Overall, the room was very nice, but the keycard deal may cause me to choose another hotel next time I go.
