Disappointed
Very disappointed with breakfast. Expected more than just coffee, sweet rolls & apples. Shower was slippery, do not furnish bath mats.

Good modest accomodations
This was a clean but older facility. The hotel is set back from the street so that it was very quiet. (The ice machine is coin operated and located outside near the pool). The free "continental breakfast" consisted of store bought pasties, fruit and coffee. Overall, for the price, it was a good deal. If you are on a budget, I would recommend it.

Stay Away from this Hotel
My son and I stayed here while we were visiting the Claremont colleges. It was convenient to the campus but that is all that I can say for it. The TV had no remote, we had to go to the office to get one. They gave us 2 remotes and the key to the room next door in hopes that one of them would work. The TV reception was very bad on the very few channels that they had.We had to pay for ice!! When we checked in the room was very hot. The drapes in the west facing window were open and the a/c was not on. We immediately turned it on and went out for dinner. It was still unbearable hot when we returned an hour later even though it was only 70 degrees outside. I went to the office to complain and ask for a fan at least. She said she would look for one and I returned to the room. When I had not heard from then in 30 minutes I went to the office to ask again and was told that they think the only fan they had was given to another guest. You think they might see the pattern and figure out that there is something wrong with the air conditioning systems. The free continental breakfast was nasty. They had about four prepackaged pastries and a basket of apples and bananas that were rotten and black. Coffee and bottled water only to drink. It was not worth getting out of bed for. I will never return.
