MIss it already!
Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! The staff is friendly and the rooms are GREAT!!!! A block away from the beach past shops and restaurants. The beach is so clean and well maintained! The setting of Crane’s is secluded and tropical... There is a church across the street with bells ringing, which is nice. It is a beautiful church though and the rooms at Crane’s are SO QUIET! Plus, they leave you ear plugs, just in case! Everything was PERFECT! Highly, HIGHLY recommend to everyone... romantic getaways, kids, families... even pets because they are welcome, too! The rooms are so secluded and quiet, you would never know there were other guests unless you ventured out your room, which is recommended because of the FANTASTIC Tiki Bar and Breakfast! Cannot say enough! We WILL be back!
We went at the tail end of the off season, which is cheaper, but not as much going on. That was okay with us, because we were looking for quiet and also savings. Highly recommend Boston’s On The Beach for seafood, regular food, drinks and good times! Shopping is great around there if you have the money. And Delray Beach REALLY takes care of its beaches!

Tropical Oasis
Seldom do you find yourself surrounded by lush tropical trees, waterfalls, saline pools, and tiki huts in a reasonably priced hotel in south Florida. You enter Cranes Beach House through this garden paradise and are cordially greeted by the staff in an office with complimentary pastries and cookies. The rooms are individually appointed with beautiful hand painted murals and tropical touches, and fully stocked with beverages and treats of all kinds. The complimentary breakfast is served in the tiki hut by the pool, and has a wide assortment of goodies. You are walking distance from the ocean and all of the wonderful stores and restaurants on Atlantic Ave. There is plenty of convenient parking, and the gardens and pool areas are key accessed after 9 PM, making it feel very secure. There is entertainment in the tiki hut several evenings per week, with bar service at the hut. I was truly impressed with every aspect of Cranes Beach House, and will stay there exclusively when I travel to Delray beach.
Although there are dozens of wonderful restaurants along Atlantic Ave. Take in a couple of restaurants off the beaten path. There are plenty, and the food is great.
