Excellent location and value for money
Hotel location made it easy to go shopping on foot. Room well laid out and appointed. If more organized could have breakfast and other meals in room. I chose to walk to excellent local cafes for toast and fabulous coffee for breakfast and fabulous Carlton for other meals.

My place in Melbourne
I booked this hotel at the last minute, and was very satisfied with the choice. The women at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. The only disappointment was that the airport shuttle that was booked for me did not show up, and I ended up having a AUS$60 taxi fare.
Traveler's tip
Try to avoid an early morning flight out of Melbourne. The shuttle services don’t start until 6am. Taxi fare is AUS$60.
