Very pleased
With a beautiful courtyard and rooms surrounding, we were disappointed to get a room overlooking the street. Noise didnt seem to be a problem but view could have been nicer. Very pleased with the hotel in other areas.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Conveniently located with a grocery just steps away for little room snacks and wine.

Great hotel for those who dont mind a bit of walking.
Stayed here for 3 nights in September of 2007 and was quite pleased. The hotel was well-kept and the staff was very nice. The neighborhood was more working class than touristy, which can be both good and bad. Its good in the sense that there are reasonably priced restaurants and bars in the vicinity. But its about a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro stop (Porta Romana) and a 20 minute walk to the Naviglio Grande area, which has plenty of restaurants, bars, and gelaterias. Trams go to either location, though, and once on the metro youre only 3 stops from the Duomo.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Try to get a room that doesnt overlook Viale Bligny as the tram goes down this street and can be noisy.
