We had a very nice room and the staff was very helpful and spoke english, which was very comforting to us. bathroom was very updated.
I would recommend a trip to Spain to all that want to see the beauty of history.

Great value!
My girlfriend and I spent a week at this hotel this fall while on our first trip overseas together. The cost of this hotel allowed us to go to Spain instead of heading on vacation in the US. Strong points are the cost, cleanliness, helpfulness of the staff, proximity to the subway. Weak points are the location (but who cares since the subway is so close.) THERE IS NO FREE WIFI HERE! You have to pay for WIFI or internet access via a cable in your room. I did not expect this from the reviews I had read. Barcelona has an exceptionally clean and useful metro system that was inexpensive as well. We spent our week touring every inch of the city and bought two $7 Euro metro passes each in that time. When you take into account the cost of getting a hotel in La Rambla, or along the waterfront, this hotel becomes a no brainer. It was a nice break to head back to our hotel around 7, shower, relax, and then head back out for dinner and the night life around 9. Barcelona overall was an exceptional city, and this hotel was another exceptional experience there.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
-Subway passes are 10 rides for 7 Euro -Get the museum pass for 22 Euro that covers Gaudi, Miro, Picasso, the Catalan Regional Art Museum, and two others. Well worth the price of the ticket. -Eat ham. God Iberian Ham is awesome!
