Nothing to complain
We arrived around 11:00 PM. Two rooms were ready. Check-in took 5 minutes. I didn’t even need to give my credit card or cash deposit. Rooms are neat and roomy. The buffet breakfast was included. It serves coffee, espresso, juice, ham, and many choices of danish/bread/bagels. Check-out was quick. They called a large size taxi for us because of large numbers of luggage. Taxi fare was only 10 euro including tip.

Simple but good
This is a very typical 3star hotel. Good food and price, but the neighborhood (area) is not the best in town.

I was impressed...
It was a great hotel. It had a minor problem which was cracks in the walls. Nothing major, but did want ot mention it. I liked the hotel. The staff very friendly and nice. No bugs or anything. Always clean sheets.

Be sure to get your own beverages to drink in your room as the prices are very expensive.

Convenient hotel, close to metro stop
The hotel staff was polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is half a block away from the metro station. It is a easy 10 minute train ride to the city center. The only thing negative is that hotel requires a deposit and fee per day to use the safe in our room.

Good value
Considering the price, this hotel far exceeded our expectations. The free breakfast included bread, cereal, fruit, eggs, coffee... anything you would expect a breakfast to have. The lobby was beautiful and the rooms were nice. The staff was very friendly and all spoke english. While it is a walk to the older part of downtown, the metro stop is closeby. We would definitely stay there again.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
A taxi from the airport is only 6-8 euros, and definitely worth every cent if you have a good amount of luggage.

Excellent Hotel near downtown
Hotel had wired internet (supposed to be 5 Euros a day, but they never charged me). Near subway station, or an easy walk to downtown. Restaurants nearby. Hotel staff very nice, and most speak English. Highly recommended.

Average hotel at a reasonable price
We enjoyed our stay in Lisbon and the Hotel Travel Park Lisboa was a good value. The room we stayed in was very austere, with no sofa and only one chair to sit on. The bed is hard as a rock and the pillows very wimpy. The breakfast buffet was good and the hotel staff were eager to help you. The location was near the Metro so very easy to reach the majot sights.

Excellent choice!
This hotel was great for us. Location was wonderful. Easy metro access and was a straight shot to the airport. On-site parking was reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet had a good assortment to choose from. Room was clean and was spacious enough for our family of four to be comfortable for the night. I would definitely stay here again if in Lisbon. I had no idea what I was choosing when looking at Expedia, and we got really lucky with our choice!

We took the metro to the World Expo ’98 park. There’s also a huge shopping center at the same stop. Was definitely worth it!

good value / average location
this hotel was very nice, but was not located as close to the city center as i would have hoped. the location is ok, but not great. it does help that there is a metro stop just down the block from the hotel, but the area surrounding the hotel is very average. if you can live with this minor limitation, then this hotel is a very good value.

Great Location in Lisbon
The Hotel Travel park is easy to get to from the airport - a straight shot. It’s next to a Metro line, so it’s 5 minutes to the center of Lisbon. Excellent service, English spoken well. The restaurant is great too!
Traveler's tip
As the hotel is popular, early arrivals are difficult on the weekend. We flew in at 6 in the morning and had to wait until 11 for a room.

Decent place, but with some flaws.
Moderately priced hotel, clean and very convenient to a metro stop - which was very nice. Public transportation works quire well in Lisbon. Staff at the hotel was uneven, several were extremely helpful and proactive, others did the bare minimum. Breakfast buffet service was chaotic, breakfast itself was pretty good. Management shortfalls and training issues seemed to be the norm. Had to pay two Euro per day to get the key to your in room safe to store valuables- this in addition to a deposit. AC worked well.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Sintra is an incredible place to visit, by all means make the day trip out there. Trains run every hour or so there and it only takes 40 minutes and cots only a couple EURO for the roundtrip.

Would definitely stay there again
We were very pleased with the Hotel Travel Park Lisboa: clean modern facilities, a very good breakfast buffet, and a super-convenient location just half a block from a subway station. A nice touch: we found a complimentary snack and beverage waiting in the room on my birthday, which the staff must have noticed from my passport. We highly recommend this hotel.
Traveler's tip
Be careful of pickpockets on the #15 and 28 trams, which are popular with tourists. One went for me my first day in Lisbon, but fortunately was thwarted by the zippered security pocket in my travel pants.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. The buffet breakfast which was included in the room rate was good. I will surely stay again.

Metro(subway)and bus station are close by. Restaurants around the area offer good food and reasonable prices.

Nice place to stay
This hotel is within walking distance to downtown and the shopping and restaurants. It is also very close to the metro to get you about anywhere in the city. The staff is friendly and helpful. But beware don’t let them talk you into a tour on Dianatours. A big Big rip off. You are better off with a guide book and taking the train to other cities and sites. I would stay here again.
Sintra is beautiful. But take the train and get a map fromthe tourist office. Don’t bother with a tour. They are expensive and quickly run you by things. In Pena Palace the information a guide will give you is already there in English.

I’d stay here again...
Excellent stopover for just an quick overnight stay. Convenient location -- metro, buses, main street. Great breakfast with excellent homemade breads (YUM!). Staff very helpful with fluent English. Only issue: Could NOT take a shower without getting water EVERYWHERE! Pretty funny really. Great value for the money.
