Good value for the price
The hotel has an excellent location within walking distance to the train station, the old city, grocery store and a laundramat. The staff was very helpful. Good breakfast.

Pleasantly Delighted
We would, and will, stay at this hotel again. The staff were very nice and helpful, and spoke English. The accomodations were fantastic and clean. Even though the location was near a busy corner, there was no noise from traffic. The breakfast in the morning was a typical Italian breakfast and well worth the stay. We would recommend this hotel to anyone! There is free parking on the hotel grounds.

Modern comforts in Lucca
The Eurostars Toscana [ET] was exactly the nice, clean, modern business-class hotel that these reviews suggested. We stayed there 2 nights [June 5 & 6] to visit Lucca, Pisa et al. It did take us several tries to nail the right turn on the autostrade exit ramp to get to the ET, as others have found but it was very convenient to sight-see Pisa and other points of interest from the ET. Our double-room was small but adequate and the shower was actually wider than similar showers in other Italian hotels. The free breakfast was OK but not memorable. On-site parking is free. When you sign up for Internet access at the front desk, they give you a CAT-5 cable and a login ID and password which you can then use when prompted on the access webpage back in your room. Free access is granted in 2-hour increments which you can renew at the front desk.
Traveler's tip on dining
You can find free parking inside the western wall of Lucca at around 7 PM and then stroll to your restaurant from there. The old town is about a 20-minute walk from wall to wall so you are better off without a car in tow.
