Doubletree-Bethesda
This is a nice, new hotel, convenient to D.C. I am not crazy about the $20 parking charge...but so be it.

Nice visit
We have stayed in the DC area many times, and this is one of the best places. They make it very convient to stay, and I will book this location again.

Good value for the money
We checked in late and received an upgrade to a suite since they were not so full that evening, which was great. We left to travel for a couple of days and returned to stay 3 more nights. Our room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. We asked for more hangers and they were brought promptly. This is a well run hotel and I would stay there again. My only complaint was that the carpeting either needs to be cleaned or replaced as it was a bit dirty. Always check the internet for the best rates. Lots of very fine restaurants within walking distance with a Starbucks right down the street.
